BOTOX® TRAINING (Basic and/or Advanced Workshop)

From time to time, we all show many different expressions on our face. As we age, those expression lines can show up as permanent fine lines and/or wrinkles. For those who do not wear these expression lines well, there is now help with BOTOX® Cosmetic.

The drug BOTOX® Cosmetic, (Trade Name of Botulinum Toxin Type A), was approved by the FDA in 2002 to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles between the eyebrows. It is used off-label in several areas of the face with success.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected with a very small, fine needle in minute amounts into the affected muscle that causes expression lines. BOTOX® Cosmetic paralyzes the muscle without numbness to the area, causing the expression lines to relax for a smoother, more youthful looking appearance.

BOTOX® Cosmetic produces results within a week to 10 days and temporarily last from 2-4 months

or longer.   The patient can immediately go back to their activity with minimal restrictions.

ADVANCED BOTOX® TRAINING

The Student in the Advanced BOTOX® Training class is taught how to mark and administer injections to ensure you, as a Clinician, optimizes the therapy for the patient's anatomy and aesthetic interests.
